The P. Doug Laughlin Family
Scholarship
Founded in 1997, College Parents of America (www.collegeparents.org) is the nation’s only membership organization of current and future college parents. CPA is headquartered in Arlington, VA, just outside of Washington, DC. Its mission is to help parents understand, prepare for, protect and maximize their family’s college investment. College Parents of America fulfills its mission by providing its members with special offers, such as tuition insurance, timely information, and advocacy on both a national and state level.
THE P. DOUG LAUGHLIN FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
CPA empowers parents to support their children on the path to and through college. As a lasting recognition and tribute to its founder, CPA has established the P. Doug Laughlin Family Scholarship Program. The scholarship program will award ten (10) one thousand dollar ($1000) scholarships to deserving students in the categories of First Generation College Bound and Exceptional Leadership. Scholarships are one-year awards but recipients may reapply and receive additional years of scholarship support subject to the availability of funds.
